Fantastic Boat Trips for an Awesome Summer in Paphos
Family boat trips in Paphos and the wider area are trendy this summer of 2022. Especially so when taking one from the quaint harbour of Latchi in the northwest of the Paphos region.
Beautiful boats like Nafsika II and Koulla BBQ Boat welcome passengers every day on boat trips along the famous Akamas Peninsula every day. This coastline is unique – home to the only Nature Reserve in Cyprus, whose natural beauty is honestly overwhelming. The most exquisite and warmest water in the Mediterranean splashes this enchanting coastline. Famed as the legendary meeting place for lovers Aphrodite and Adonis, it’s easy to see how they could fall in love in the most magical place in the Paphos region.
Its majesty is only matched by the ancient history of Polis Chrysochous (Polis, “the city,” in the river valley called Chrysochou, “land flowing with gold.”) and the surrounding area. Founded in the 8th century BCE, Polis was formerly known as Marion before being destroyed and renamed Arsinoe in 270 BCE after his sister and wife by King Ptolemy I.
Intimate beaches are found everywhere, and a boat trip from Latchi Harbour ensures you will catch sight of many of them on your way to the celebrated Blue Lagoon. You may be fortunate to see some of our glorious wildlife throughout the year. Including from April until September Turtles. Monk seals live in Latchi and also in the Sea Caves region of the Paphos district. Bottlenose Dolphins visit our coast every year, and Tuna stalk further out to sea in the summer. And, from time to time, even whales are sighted.
Everyone loves boat trips from Latchi because they can enjoy a few hours of relaxing and swimming. Koulla, our traditional boat, serves an authentic BBQ on both of her daily trips to the Blue Lagoon. In the late afternoon, Nafsika II serves a fabulous BBQ before heading back to the harbour at Sunset.
- Fresh Seasonal Fruits, Local Wine (Red or White) and Orange Squash are served on every voyage.
On our boat trips, you’ll visit the Baths of Aphrodite, Saint George’s island, the sea caves at Manolis bay, Blaji bay, Fontana Amoroza and the famous Blue Lagoon. We stop at Blue Lagoon for swimming and snorkelling in its crystal clear waters. If you need additional help, are disabled, or have a large party coming, please let us know in advance. We will ensure that your cruise is trouble-free, relaxing and enjoyable.

When you’re not cruising, or eating with us, why not hire a quad bike, motorcycle or car from our friends and partners. Latchi is a beautiful little village and harbour. Once you visit, you’ll find it hard to leave again.
This year is the 40th Anniversary of our boats cruising the Akamas peninsula. Started by our Grandfather in 1982, we continue his legacy of faithfully taking care of everyone who sails with us.

Having already been on the Koulla last year, we decided to try the evening cruise on Nafsika, and we were not disappointed. The boat was not crowded, and the crew did their best to make everyone feel safe and enjoy themselves. We stopped at the Blue Lagoon for almost two hours, and while everyone was enjoying a relaxing swim, the crew prepared the BBQ and the couscous, which were delicious. A must if you’re in Cyprus!

Amazing Boat Trip. Last cruise of the year! I was very satisfied with the tour company, from the beginning, when I made the first contact with Theo, until the last second of the tour. The blue lagoon is beautiful! Due to Covid-19, they are not offering Snorkel, but we had wine, fruit and even cold beer on board! The staff were very polite and kindly answered my questions. They have a photographer on board to click the best moments! Highly recommended!
